Do you like ghost stories? This recording turns ghostly at the end thanks to Robyn Carrigan’s whispery vocals which I recorded with my portable studio in her kitchen. It was fun to layer synthesizers and cricket sounds I recorded at summer's end. I learned this song at Féis an Eilein on Christmas Island one summer from Rod C. MacLean. The chorus is a series of vocables. I appear singing this song with a loop pedal on Michael Newton’s 2012 documentary Singing Against The Silence: The Gaels of Nova Scotia.
